Creole Soul Kitchen

Had the chicken and sausage gumbo as my main. The dish is a stew cooked with sausage, chicken and okra. Nice texture coming from the spring onion and okra. Accompanied with bread and some rice. Has a hint of smokey flavour and quite yummy. May not be for everyone but I enjoyed it. Dessert was the pecan scroll with banana and ice cream. Too sweet for me but perfect for those with sweet tooth. Both meals were hearty. Friendly and easy going staff.

My mum and I shared a pizza and dessert together and in my opinion, for the price and portions it was fantastic! Food was delicious and service was so lovely!! We went quite late in the evening so it felt very personable and charming. Definitely now a Go To !

Spicy soul food no joke. Kinda sad I couldn’t try everything on the menu at once. So yummy, will def come back. Kids were big fans. The churros were the nicest I’ve ever had including Spain.

Authentic, tasty flavors, but could be better quantity for price. There was barely any decor, it looked more like a cafe/take away place. Staff were good and friendly. A little gem in Spring Hill

Directly opposite Art Series Hotel, we heard delightful laughter from this venue from other patrons as we made our way over. It did not disappoint. Suberb margaritas from staff who knew their stuff and a quick bite of prawns in creole soul sauce with crusty bread tied us over before dinner. A gem.

Had a take away order of the popcorn chicken fried steak. Food tastes great and was cooked very fast
