Creole Soul Kitchen

Staying at the Johnson Hotel and noticed this good looking restaurant across the road. I only wanted something light and ordered the clams. OMG they were to die for and the service is fast and friendly. Will be back again tomorrow night!

Great Southern style Louisiana creole food and equally fantastic service. Loved it.

This one of the best places to eat in Brisbane. I have been going here for 3 years and have not had one disappointment. The consistency is amazing. The staff are super friendly, especially the girl who served me a few days ago..thank you. And big thanks to the chef who made time to have a quick chat regardless being busy, I could've chosen a better time but it was something I needed to say for a while. Thanks to Creole kitchen for all the great food and welcoming environment. I look forward to getting many more meals from here in the near and far future. Great work guys!!

Fantastic food, and great friendly staff, can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. The gumbo, crawfish and pork belly were all delicious!

My friends and I had a meal there tonight for Fat Tuesday. The food was amazing, the staff were great and the service was exceptional. Even though they were really busy they were happy to help. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent American food. Service was great, beer selection was spot on too. Had a vegetarian pizza and the Buffalo wings, very tasty food and the menu has a lot of other amazing options. Can get busy on weekends so it's recommended to book early to avoid disappointment

Amazing creole and southern food. Their pumpkin pie on Thanksgiving was among the best i've had. Their jambalaya, gumbo, biscuits and gravy are absolutely awesome. Also amazing southern hospitality and service from their co-owner Mark...for Americans, this may be normal. But for Australians, good restaurant service is a very foreign / esoteric concept.

I've been there a couple of times now and I have to say I really like this place, their pizza bourbon street and baton rouge were great and their Chicken fried chicken is excellent as well as an amazing portion!

I had a cheesey garlic bread and a chicken pasta spinach with parmasen cheese meal and i have not had a meal satisfiy me so much in a very long time. Staff were also very friendly and great to talk to. Would recommend to others and will go again if in town again.
