8 Quay St Shop TG6, Haymarket 2000, Sydney
Nice food and good price
This is a full sized supermarket which hosts a great range of fresh and dry products.
Anyone that is considering Cho Dumpling King should start with the braised pork rice set! $13 for a small set, $14 for the large set, the food is delicious and very authentic Taiwanese. One of the best Taiwanese eateries I have been to in Sydney CBD. Recommendation: THE COLD DISHES. So many varieties and so cheap. Service is alright, don't expect much from an eatery with minimal seating!
Generally I wouldn't think twice about something as simple as pork rice, but here it's so good I'm craving more 24 hrs later. Get the combo deal with a side - the fried chicken and cuttlefish are good options.
My Taiwanese friend recommended this place. Beef soup was good, which is not oily and beef was melting in mouth, no smell.
Very good nice value
Nice Taiwanese foods!! so lovely taste. I love small plates, great bento,tea...!!
love Taiwanese food, the fried chicken is tasty and the drinks are so good. Feels like im in Asia again
Great place to have good and quick authentic Taiwanese food in Chinatown. Although the space is crammed and often packed for dinner, the meals have never disappointed. I've tried several items on the menu (especially the set meals) and they all have been really good. Service is good too.
Nice small restaurant serving Taiwanese hot and cold food. Reasonably priced and pretty delicious. This place can be packed at peak hours. However I like the fact they have got an organised system of giving numbers to waiting customers.
