Small restaurant nestled on the busy Kingsway in Glen Waverley. Just a few doors away from the Century City cinema entrance. We managed to get in at the right time and were immediately seated. Orders had to be ordered at the front counter and we ordered the hainan steamed chicken, roasted chicken and a couple portions of chicken rice. It took roughly 10 mins for our order to arrived and it smells really good. The roast chicken is as you expect it, golden brown crispy skin and tender succulent chicken. Only ever so slightly dry. The steamed chicken is just silky and not overly oily. The chicken rice itself was fragrant. The soup was weak but ok. The ginger sauce was too over powering but the chilli was fine. At 12:30pm, the crowd soon piled in and was hard to walk around. Noticed a plate of pan fried dumplings ordered for another table and it came out severely charred. All in all it was ok. Slightly on the expensive side. $35 minimum for card payments.

Glen Waverley has been found worthy of decent coffee. Black Flat delivers a rich velvet brew with a subtle fruity hint. Food is assembled simply and with excellence in both presentation and taste. One of the best stops in the country, rivalling, if not surpassing the source roasters. Beans: axil

This is a place to inspect inner surface of human noses of waiters and waitresses. Food is nice enough to endure the service here. Roast duck ribs and pork belly are great to take away home

Very tasty premium black truffle wagyu don with salted egg fries is an absolute treat, highly recommended, restaurant quality food in a brand new food court with a view to the Dandenong ranges!

Nice atmosphere. The staff dress in traditional clothes. They run sessions where the chief prepares the meal infront of you and they entertain and amaze.

Our experience here was really quite good, food and service-wise. As we were working late we turned up to the restaurant at around 9:30 pm and while the kitchen was closed they were more than happy to offer us woodfired pizza, which is what we were after anyway! The subsequent service was quick and the pizza was not so bad. I tried some of the prosciutto rocquette and the pesto pizza. The prosciutto rocquette, while quite simple, was very tasty and the semi-sundried tomatoes on the pesto pizza were rich and juicy. Although, the pizza base felt a little tough/stale.

Eat the shop is in Los Angeles last time when I stay in the United States, this is my partner and I favorite store, usually I need wait two hours, but I don't need here, in short, he's a bit less sauce, I can take away sauce in LA and put some fries with eat, but here i cant ，due to just opened, I am very satisfied with the effect, two people I cost $180, I think it is acceptable
Great place for a catchup with heaps of parking close to the front door. Check out the $1 coffees to the right of the bistro bar.
