Amazing sea food and great service !!
Very addictive taste, a great place for seafood lover. I love the corn, potato and sauage most, the kind crab is very nice too.
Tasty clams, prawns and i like the way the crab was cooked. Considering the price of their lobster though, i think the crabs were a much better choice. There was more meat in them too as compared to the lobsters that were so thin i had to literally search where to scoop. My only suggestion is, maybe you guys can shop for bigger lobsters next time? It'll be at least worth the price we pay for
Located in a nice place and can host a large crowd. The place looked fancy and decided to have dinner. The experience was sour. The food lacked taste and the price for the dishes were over priced. Regretted the decision to visit the place. Hope the staff put more effort in delivering good customer service and good food. Furthermore we fell sick as soon as we came home as the sauce had a strong garlic and oil taste.
Me and my family had fun eating here last night. My first time and loved it. Crabs, clams, prawns were fresh and yummy. We didnt wait for too long for the foods when served. Staff were nice, attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back!
Had such an amazing experience at the Boiling Crab. Food was delicious and the atmosphere was enjoyable- tried king crab legs for the first time and they were remarkable. Great to have a seafood restaurant in the Eastern suburbs- usually have to travel into the city. Will definitely be returning soon because I want to try everything on the menu!
We dine here around 5pm and it wasn’t busy. Casual vibe restaurant. We had little issue at the beginning, we pushed the service button multiple times to order but none came. We attempted eye contact with the staffs still failed; ended up verbally calling them to place order. Our orders were served in no time (surprisingly quick! Well done!). We had crab, baby octopus, shrimp and corn with shang bang sauce. It was good - not amazing but definitely not bad. Shrimps were gutted but were a bit small in size. It would be best if it were medium to large size. We love the octopus - must try. Overall, it was a great experience. We still have plan to come back. Recommend to everyone who aren’t fussy about getting dirty when eating.
Worth a try for the experience! If you enjoy ripping into seafood with your hands it’s a fun experience. We ordered the brown crab, king crab legs, scampi and soft shell crab basket. The flavor was a lot more prevalent on the scampi as the sauce doesn’t quite get to the crab meat which sits in the leg or body. It was quite expensive ($235 for 2 people) but a fun experience to try.
Second time to this one of a kind restaurant and the quality of food still amazes me. Love the shabang sauce! The garlic infuses flavourful taste into the sauce! Very helpful and approachable staff from front to cashier. A third visit will follow for sure! Keep up the good work.
This is hands down the best seafood destination in Mel. The customer service is amazing, especially Amy. She gave me a complete breakdown of the menu and recommended the best mud crab I've ever had in my life. I frequent this location at least once a week now and recommended this restaurant to anyone with a taste for great seafood. Will continue to spread word offline. Thank you.
