Hainan Chicken

Yummy. Nice. Good. Soup could be hotter though

We ordered take away once and it was not bad. But when we dined the other night.... It was full house and took a good 45 mins to be served with food. It didn’t stop there. The hainan chicken had a “not clean” smell, and the pig stomach was the worst that night. The smell just threw me off whole dinner. Not every one could clean organs properly. Sigh. But I guess some people like it.

Order their hainan chicken rice and red bean drink . Actually their food were nice . It is better comparing with the one at box hill . However , I am not satisfying with their service . I enter the shop at about 8:35 pm and place my ordered at 8:41pm (printed on the bill) . There were only 5 table with customers and not busy at all . I wait until 9:02pm and try to get a staff and ask where my meal is . However the staff were chatting with the other tables for minutes . When a staff come to my . I point her to the clock and my bill and told here I have been waiting for 20+ mins for my meal . It is really unacceptable for the long waiting given that the restaurant wasn’t busy , and those food i ordered are precooked . I did order any special food that required further cooking at all . Wish you guys will improve .

Waited 30 mins for chicken rice and noodle takeaway ….Seriously faster eating elsewhere. No apologies. The service is so bad. They even forgot the soup base.

Food took forever to come out. Sweet and sour pork literally tasted like apple and cinnamon; too sweet. Fried chicken not that crunchy and really fatty tasting. The sauces were not that salty at all.

I want to point out that there are only two people at work? Do I have to wait for more than half an hour to complete my order?omg Only six guests, it takes more than half an hour to complete the meal we ordered

waited for an hour for all the food to arrive on the table. they really need to train their staff for some common sense. My rice didnt come out with the main dish and when I asked for it, they totally ignored me. This place has gone down hill. We literally finished the main dish without the rice because we were so hungry.

Quite good chicken rice and choice of other dishes

The food is great but the issue is how long it took for the food to be served to us. It took over 40min for them to serve the chicken rice where the chicken was already cooked/made. I understand deboning takes a little longer but not 40min. The restaurant wasn't even full. Suggest the chef really have a think on way of reducing the time from order to serving up dishes because no matter what how good your chicken is, we are not waiting for 40min to get pre-cooked chicken.

I recommend this restaurant if you are happy with quantity, not quality! Hainan chicken is normally served cold so please dont get scared, if you’re not familiar with cold steamed chicken :) The rice served with Hainan chicken was really good but the chicken wasnt cleaned properly and had hair still on it
