One of my favourite restaurants I’ve been to in Sydney! Amazing food, amazing service and amazing drinks.

Beautiful looking restaurant. Classic and elegant. Great detailing. Service was good but not at Fine Dining standards. Food was good but not exceptional. Cocktails super expensive. Very expensive overall!!! Waited so long for the opening ... a little bit disappointed. But we had a great time with our friends anyway.

Everything was great great but the best thing was LUCA BATELLA. They should have more Luca Batella on the menu..

Ambience is really nice and the waiters are all super attentive without being all up in your face. Then for the food all the dishes were really good except these: -fries (tasted like a dry potato 🥔 lmao) -apple tart tatain (dunno if spelling is correct but it was like sickly sweet, everyone had two bites and it was still too much) -hand picked snapper crab (bread was pretty dry and it was just average for what you're paying) Would go again and avoid the above 😂

Beautiful dining experience. The venue has a relaxed elegance about it and the food is delicious, nothing fancy but just great quality ingredients and clean flavours. As usual with Merivale, staff are charismatic and exhibit the right amount of attentiveness. Yes it is expensive so save it for special occasions and catch ups!

Service was excellent, food - meh. It's very expensive, so I was expecting to be blown away but wasn't at all. Starters are described as bites - they're more like canopais, so we ordered pretty much every one to get enough. Really disappointed with the $200 steak. I ordered because I wanted to know what a $200 steak tasted like - but it was below acceptable tbh. I ordered medium rare which is always how I like it. This came cooked on the outside but almost cold on the inside. Very gelatinous. To be fair it was 800g which is big - it's a two person job really. We went for our wedding anniversary so I didn't mind the cost, but for these prices I do expect outstanding food but tbh I've had better at more sensibly priced places.
