Not quite sure why this place rates so highly. Sure the sandwich was ok - but how hard is a sandwich to make?! I had the Reuben and it was definitely good. Service was all over the place. I was seated and then waited 25 minutes to have my order taken. Then another 30 minutes for sandwich to arrive. I was provided no water. No cutlery. No napkin. The place was not that busy and there were so many staff on - so not sure why the service was slow. My waiter was lovely but just off with the fairies as he didn’t seem to know what was going on. That being said - food was solid and it is quirky.
BEST Cafe, lovely, loving and caring people serve you and make you delicious healthy food. Thank you♡♡ Your food is really the best, I travel very far just to go here!! It's DEFINENTLY worth it far and beyond! Especially when your in the area visiting MAKE SURE you go and experience this Cafe, it's like NONE OTHER!! The atmosphere is really pleasant and calming, so cosy on a cold day as they have a nice hot fire going and cute handmade salvaged reused wooden tables and chairs and decorated simple but cute and homey. Thank you, you guys are doing a wonderful job!
Wasn't overly impressed with the menu, the staff All seemed like they didn't want to be there and the one older guy watching over them ... what's going on there...ay!
Absolutely love this place, it is the cutest- with the panpipe folk music playing and the cool wooden bespoke interiors, you can truly feel like you are in elfland or a LOTR movie which is a pretty special unique experience worth visiting for! The teas are also very good :) Service can be a bit slow though as it is usually rather busy and hectic inside.
Love the overall feel of this deli, food was so fresh and hearty. Will be back for sure
Enjoyed our quick coffee stop. Their fruit salad with yogurt is absolutely amazing!
You can design you own dish fro individual menu items. Seems good quality, cosy, nice decor. Reasonable pricing.
Good food but I think everyone should know that this establishment is run by a cult. We went here without knowing that this place was established by the 12 Tribes cult, and I wish I’d known beforehand because no pumpkin soup is good enough to justify supporting religious fanatics who condone racism, homophobia, and wait for it - rife child abuse. Beside, the sandwiches were a bit soggy. Trust a cultist to beat and traumatise their children for life but to somehow not have the time to toast their bread.
Tasty sandwiches with nice and warm soup. A must visit in blue mountains.
This corner cafe in the heart of Katoomba has plenty of ambience with a fireplace to sit around or take a quaint wooded booth to share. The food isn't bad either don't forget to ask about their desserts
