Thunderbird Kitchen

Dropped in for dinner tonight based on reviews on Google and we are so glad we did, the food was delicious and the staff fantastic, the service was quick and pleasant. Will definitely return. Thank you for squeezing us in.

This place looks great - really well designed, and styled. Unfortunately, the service we received soured the night for us. They staff were very busy, but it took over an hour for our food to come out. This probably would have been taken better if we didn't see people come, order, eat, and leave before we were served our food! My meal and my Mum's meal were very nice. The wine was good, and the waitress who served the wine was knowledgable and efficient. Unfortunately, my Dad's kangaroo was so tough he really struggled to cut it. Eventually the waiter came to check on us after we were done, and Dad explained that he couldn't eat the kangaroo. The head waiter (I'd guess - older guy who had the COVID marshall badge on) came back over after seeing the kitchen staff and told my Dad that the chef had actually been able to pull the kangaroo apart with two fingers... I don't know how that comment was helpful, even if it had been true! I understand wanting to defend your quality, but it was done in such a condescending way, and my Dad was clearly upset by the retort. They removed the kangaroo from our bill, which was appreciated, but we left feeling pretty bad as the guy had made my Dad feel as if it was somehow his fault, or that he was making it up. Pretty shocking, and uncalled for.

Visiting the area. The food was fresh and tasted divine, the staff were so lovely, it was a little bit chilly outside and my daughter and I were given blankets. Highly recommend.

We were a party of six, we arrived early but Elle our waitress invited us in and sat us down on the lounge and we chose our wine. Everything about the evening was perfect. The wine was delicious, the food scrumptious and our waitress Elle outstanding! Thunderbirds are Go!

From the time of booking for lunch to the end of the meal I can say that the food and service was superb! I had the beer battered flathead which was just “delish”! The service was excellent. My friend had a spaghetti dish which was also superb. The waitress was friendly, and was able to communicate well. Well done Thunderbird!!

nice looking cafe Can i suggest Vittoria coffee.It is the supreme flavour over any coffees.In Middelton,Elliot n Victor.Does anyone make Vittoria coffee?

This restaurant was ridiculous from start to finish Lack of correspondence when booking Small overpriced portions. Waited an hour and a half to be served Had to repeatedly ask when bread and drinks were arriving. Tuna was dry and covered in what tasted like bird seeds. Booked lunch at cellar 58 (same owners) and was closed without notice

This place is fantastic, good food and lovely atmosphere. Forget Victor Harbor food ant turn to Port Elliot !! We had carpaccio with salad and squid, amazing !!!

Just about the best iced coffee I have ever had

Food is amazing with a selection of well made foods and great service by friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend to anyone that wants a place for a special meal.
