Third Wave Cafe

I tried the BBQ bucket challenge, and whilst the food beat me, it was the best American BBQ food I have ever had. The staff were amazing and some of the most friendly waiters I have ever met. I highly recommend this place.

Would rate 0 stars if it was an option. Arrived at 6pm and was 1 of 3 tables. We placed our order shortly after and ended up waiting close to an hour before checking in with the waiter to see where our food was. We were informed that our order had never made it to the kitchen. Between ordering and checking on our order, no staff member approached us to see if anything was wrong or if we were waiting on anything. We ended up leaving and eating somewhere else. Would not recommend for the price that they ask and the service you receive.The two other tables had also received similarly poor service before us.

I go there again and again as my family love food there and kids are always vote for Third Wave cafe for our lunch at the weekend.

If you are a fan of American BBQ and quality coffee, this is the place to go. They cook their own bbq sauce which is also used to cook their meats. Pork ribs and Salmon are my fav here. Must try !!

Great restaurant. The meat is the highlight here. My favourite was the candy bacon.

I have always been tempted to try Third Wave because all their promotional food photos on Facebook look mouth watering. Finally made a visit and absolutely loved their rib po boy sandwich! Saw so many other items on the menu that I wanted to try but I only had one stomach. Definitely going back again to try everything! Although, if I have to be picky, I prefer the pork rib cartilages being softer than what they were.

4 of us dined on a Tuesday night. The guy behind the counter (apparently the Manager) would not allow us to join our tables as they were initially 2 separate bookings, we were given tables side by side. His claim was that it would block the counter, which in fact by moving the table side by side against the wall would provide direct access to to counter exactly in line with the Eftpos machine and actually more room with the space between one of our tables and the next table factored in. Has to be hands down the most bizzare and awkward thing I have ever heard/experienced dinning out. Even the poor waitress looked awkward. Anyway, we has a great time and enjoyed the food and the service from our waitress.

Gluttony at its best !! Had the July special Po'boy Ribosaurus and as always food at 3rd Wave did not disappoint. Friendly service as always
