The Smith Prahran

This place has very nice decor however the table we were given did not have comfortable seating. Their social distancing was not very good as our table of 10 were sitting shoulder to shoulder. The entrance door you had to touch for it to open which I didn't find very hygienic and having the toilet facilities as unisex was really off putting. Food was ok but overpriced. The atmosphere was good but we wont be returning.

Stunning venue but terrible food! Definitely not justified for the price would not recommend. Cocktails were also too sweet! It’s a place for girls to go take nice pictures of the venue but food and drinks need improvement considering the much better options elsewhere.

Really nice and friendly staff. I had accidentally booked the wrong date and when I came in on the weekend, they were understanding and worked out a way to get us a table under the cherry blossoms still. Food and drinks were good at a good cost also!

Great vibe and amazing venue. Great service from staff. Only issue - when ordering food and drinks, there’s an automatic tip there. Yes you can take it off, but sometimes you accidentally click forward. We shouldn’t be tipping in Australia. Prices are covered in the food and drinks.

After reading some bad reviews I came to the Smith with zero expectation. However I was quite impressed by the food quality! The Happiest hour 50% off on all food and drinks was amazing!

The food was amazing, the venue was aesthetically pleasing and the staff were friendly. I had the porterhouse steak cooked medium rare. The steak was cooked to perfection and the chips and salad were just as tasty. I also had the sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. I tried this venue for the 50% off happy hour but would happily pay full price for all the items, will be back for sure!!

Loved the Gospel Bottomless brunch!! Our waitress was so quick with our food and drinks, everything was delicious aswell.. Highly recommend it.

Went there for a friend's birthday a couple days ago and the interior is quite pretty, the sour gin cocktail was nice but the service was shocking, they couldn't wait to move us along any time we had a question for them. The food was over priced and under whelming. The BBQ ribs I got was basically fat and bones. Happy to say I've been there but won't be back again

Beautiful setup however as a restaurant/pub the food needs to be passable. The coffee is not up to Melbourne average.
