Amazing vanilla slice and good coffee! 4/5 as the pie and the sausage roll were just ok. Also, we were there around noon and they already run out of scallop pies and that’s what we came to try.

We tried the scallop pie, 'Devil of a Pie' (has cheese, bacon, egg and peppery meat sauce), sausage roll and Cornish pasty. The pies are just OK - the pastry is flaky but the meat/fillings are mediocre quality. We wanted to try the vanilla slice but were shocked at the $18 price tag.

Not recommended if you are a tourist and come here with hours of driving. We ordered the vanilla slice, scallop pie and two latte. The food and drink is okay without serving with plates and coffee cups but only take away cups even you choosed to dine in. I asked and they said it's easier for them. The bin in front of the bakery is full of plastics waste and not environment friendly. After walking around and we came back, it seems every table got the proper plates for eating. They treat people differently if you're tourists.

Good coffee & hot choclate. Delicious scallop pie, vegan gluten free lentil sausage roll & jalapeno sausage roll. The best Vanilla slice.

Bought a vegetable paste today and it was the worst I've ever tried to eat. It was dry, tasted like cardboard with dried curry through it! Not sure how long it had been in the pie oven, the bottom of it was black! The staff were rushed rude. I'll definitely not be back! Only two stars because the Cornish paste was edible.

Very cute bakery with excellent service. One of the staff let us back of house to check out the 100 year old wood fire oven. The food was top notch!

Genuinely the worst pie I've ever had. Somehow missing even a hint of flavour and filled with 90% non-descript gelatinous material. After 2 bites I just threw it out.

This is the actual famous bakery. The other one, bakery 31, has the worst coffee in Tassie and service with a snarl. This real bakery, with an actual oven, makes lovely pies and bread and has friendly staff. Beware tourists, there are two bakeries in Ross and one is a rip-off.

Beautiful wood fired bakery. Was privileged to be taken out the back and see the Wood oven. It was amazing they can fit 300 loaves if bread in there. Pleasant quaint town. Relaxing late lunch.
