The Oaks Hotel Bar & Grill

The Oaks is our local, great place to catchup with friends, casual meetups or take the little one's. Great garden bar especially as the lights on the big Tree come on, nothing like it!

Great night at the bar and grill restaurant. Has a great range of craft beers and a good range of aged steaks to try. We went with a 1.5kg tomahawk between three of us with green beans and potatoes which was the perfect meal for less then $30 per head.

Great venue, one of the largest screens for watching sport. My biggest problem was upstairs was a bit difficult to navigate and find the Terrace room for the event I was at. Fantastic venue overall, the oak tree namesake is a beautiful feature

Please note that this pub, despite being allowed under Council regulations and possessing an outdoor beer garden area, doesn’t allow dogs under any circumstances. This is the first pub of this kind that I have seen, particularly rare in the northern suburbs. It should be clearly published on their website and hopefully now that I am warning you here you don’t have to experience the same issues as I did having travelled a long way to meet friends and family for Easter and being turned away.

Dined on a Sunday night and used their online booking system to reserve a table; was simple and easy. Booked at 7pm so wasn’t as busy but still a decent crowd. Had the 1.4kg tomahawk steak for $95 which is an excellent deal; comes with green beans, roasted potatoes and choice of 3 sauces as a standard.

Most professionally run pub in Sydney. No kids behind the bar playing on their phones or gossiping. Dearer but well worth it imo

Nice choice of glasses of wine and tasty coffee. Will always be a go to when in Sydney. Keep up the standard. Love the atrium ala carte area also.

Abbbbbbbbbbbbbbbsolutely beautiful spot. Lots of variety in food and drinks. Outdoor area is stunning with fairy lights everywhere. Indoor area is also great. If you go upstairs there are at least 7 pool tables and a free jukebox machine so you can get your groove on and dance like no one is watching (covid restrictions may apply)
