The Mez Club

Beautiful restaurant with super cool Mediterranean chic vibes. It was bustling at 5pm, we made it just in time for Happy Hour. The cocktails were really yummy! I loved the Turkish delight cocktail, not too sweet. The food was good, I enjoyed the smoked trout dip, halloumi and the beetroot salad. The raspberry tart dessert was also delectable! The only downside was that the wait staff were almost too speedy and often took or delivered plates and left before we could order more drinks. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!

Lovely place , nicely presented and tasty food. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely it’s a pity we were seated outside in a table where you couldn’t get the restaurant feel or vibe from our table. We booked a table 2 weeks ago and we’ve given the worse table in the room or outside should I say. Otherwise it’s lovely :)

Chef's tasting menu was fantastic, particularly if you look at the menu and think that you'd really just like a taste of everything! Halloumi with pear and honey was fantastic, and not something I'd ever think if putting together. Loved it.

Went with a big group last night. Beautiful ambience, food was amazing, portions were great and service was attentive. It was clear that the chefs put their heart into making dishes full of tasty & interesting flavours. Side note, had two vegans in the group and they were catered for very well although got a bit confusing as some waiters would put dishes down without specifying what was vegan. Would recommend!

Spent the arvo at Mez Club and the food and drink was beautiful. Fiona looked after us and recommended some excellent drinks and share plates. Such great service and atmosphere... would highly recommend

We had a great dinner at Mez Club! Highly recommend the artichoke dip, white anchovies and the market fish (ours was black cod). Also love the vibe and the open air seating. Thanks guys!

Amazing venue and even better vibe, but service was just terrible. We got the 9 course tasting menu and I ordered a bottle of sparkling wine (to have with the oysters as a starter)...long story short, after I asked 5 times to our waiter and once to a different girl, we get our second and third course and still no wine. I believe anyone can make a mistake, but after the fifth time I ask for my wine I don't think there's any excuse. We weren't even offered anything to compensate for the ruined experience. Food was nice but nothing exceptional

Wow! Breathtaking venue and a lovely atmosphere! Each dish and drink that came out left us speechless! We left saying that this might be one of our favourite restaurants!

Visiting my daughter in Byron Bay to celebrate my 50th birthday we went to The Mez Club for lunch. The food was delicious! Fiona who looked after our table was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain the menu. The drinks menu was equally impressive. Would definitely recommend eating here, and thank you again Fiona for making our lunch so special 😊

Considering the high expectations that we had and the great reviews of this restaurant we left feeling quite disappointed. The main reason for the disappointment was the service, the food was great and cocktails were good. We were unable to enjoy our bottle of wine with our meal as it sat on the pass for 20 minutes before reaching us. By the time we received it the ice in the bucket had melted and we had finished our food. We were not the only ones waiting for drinks and the restaurant was not full. We were really looking forward to dining here, it’s a shame that the service left a lot to be desired.
