Really lovely restaurant. Great vibe. Really good drinks/wine menu. Really good service. Our waitress was able to advise us on Tassie gins and wines. Food was excellent. I had seafood cuury that was superb and my wife had lamb strap that was also delicious. Lovely decor. Some really Really lovely pottery artefacts.

Awesome, Perfect, Fantastic and above All Welcoming. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. As a party of 3 adults and 3 children this is usually a hard task to find. Mackenzie was the most Beautiful hostess and made us feel very welcome from the door. This Gorgeous woman then proceeded, along with her obviously just as talented and caring staff members, to surprised us with BEAUTIFUL drinks ( We needed them😋) and Gorgeous food. Great food, great ambience, beautiful decor, great friendly staff and excellent service !! We ordered the steak with chimichurri (my hubby and son had this), tortellini salad (my daughter loved this) and I had the pork belly with noodles and broth. The pork belly was exceptional and cooked to perfection with a perfect crunch. The only drawback was the long wait for the food (45mins) but it was definitely worth it !!!! No photos, by the time the food came we were starving and just dug right into it ;)

Busy for a Sunday night. Covid sign in...good to see. Great wine choice. Pork belly to die for. Def go again!

Do yourself a favour and go to The Metz. The ambiance is upscale, the service is welcoming, and the food is outstanding.

Amazing staff and fabulous delicious food incl vege options. Organised a group booking, and Kendra was wonderful. The wait for mains was a bit long, but otherwise a wonderful evening.

Brilliant meal and service once again! Those vegan pizzas were spot on! 👌

Went in for Lunch. Delicious Salt and Vinegar burger - large portions! Friendly wait staff - one offered to take our photo which is always a tell tale sign that staff will go above and beyond for their customers. Very nice and clean 10/10 recommend.

Went here during my holiday to Tassie and the food was great - the sweet and sour tofu was my personal favourite! The staff were friendly and helpful, however the food took a little longer to be served than I expected (which was understandable considering it was quite busy - but it was still definitely worth it)
