What magic is this?! My breakfast bunsky was delicious! So light and fluffy with a perfect crust, I can't believe it's not gluten! Great service, value and atmosphere. Thankyou

Lunch was enjoyed by all four attendants. One took half her meal home, it was too much to eat. Staff were attentive and polite. We love the curly fries and salad. Would like more smaller meal options and less expense.

Sticky date pudding to die for. Melting butter, crunchy praline, ice cream & soft pudding floating in sauce! Definitely worth a visit. Took a little while to be brought to the table but well worth the wait.

Tasteful decor, good atmosphere, lovely and helpful staff but very overpriced. We were a group of five and $26 per plate for one of five small scallops, with some salad leaves, a plate of a few asparagus spears with a poached egg and others..... All well-cooked, well-presented, delicious but....very over-priced. I only want this review to be critically-constructive. All good wishes.

Brilliant, friendly and helpful staff. Great view of the yachts. They Squeezed us in at last notice late on a Sunday night in the middle of silly season. Unfortunately several menu choices were out of stock but it was late on a busy Sunday night.

Love the coffee here - it is the best I have had in Launceston. The food is also delicious, although I have only had snacks and breakfasts.

The Royal Oak has been my local for the past 8 years and I absolutely love it. Great music every night of the week, excellent food at really good prices and fantastic staff. When I can walk in ans the staff have my drink poured for me, what more can I say? They get to know the majority of their patrons by name and are quite happy to have a chat with you! They have a laugh with you and make you feel right a home. In the middle of winter you can sit next to a roaring fire talking with strangers about the music that is playing in the background. In the summer you can sit out the back enjoying a light lunch and downing some cold ones catching up with friends and always meeting new people! The Royal Oak is a fantastic place to go any time, so I strongly suggest you do people!

Good food, good coffee. All day breakfast is excellent. Service however is a bit hit-and-miss, sometimes fast & attentive, other times slow.

Lovely atmosphere, gluten free tasties and delicious coconut chai tea!
Excellent service and decor. The absolute worst wagyu steak I have ever had...either that or the chef mixed it up with a poor cut of sirloin...pity as the oysters starter was perfect.
