56 Waratah St Cnr Lurline & Waratah Streets 2780, Katoomba
Absolutely disgraceful behaviour, prices through the roof, payed 7 smackaroonies for the smallest milkshake I had ever seen, rude service and expected better.πDISGUSTEDπ Will not be returning. π€¬π€¬π€¬
One of the older female waitresses in her 20s, was rude and sat on her phone or chatted to the male staff the whole time i was waiting to take my order. The younger girl (Nara?)who served me was absolutely amazing, made sure my food got out to me alright. Meal was pretty plain and completely over seasoned and the overall experience was very gimmicky and not enjoyable. Would hope to see improvement if I were to ever go back.
With or without kids, with sweet tooth or hungry for tasty savory bites; this place will satisfy you all the time. The friendly staff look after you in all matters. And, the interior is stunning. Don't forget, you enter to a former church so take a bow and enjoy yourself!
Coffee and cake was nice. But play ground needs work
I wish there was a way to find each town's version of this place. Family-friendly, great food and good value.
We ordered a ham and cheese croissant, bacon and egg bun, mocha, cappuccino and the hot chocolate tasting panel. It was all amazing. Easy to order at the counter, the food and drinks came out in about 8 minutes, drinks about 2 minutes earlier than the food. Really yummy tomato sauce and caramelised onion sauces with the bun. Highly recommend the ginger hot chocolate, the chili hot chocolate has a decent bite to it. Friendly staff helped in the little shopping section, they had sold out of the ginger that went into the hot chocolate but told me the brand, where to get it online, when their next order would come in and offered to show me the open bottle they had. Highly recommend, great atmosphere, perfect for kids and couples. Loved it, thank you!
Very interesting place. Old church with great variety of gingerbread products.
Very unusual place to have a coffee etc lots of goodies to buy
A must to visit at Katoomba. Nice set up, best coffee, fluffy scones, yummy carrot cake.
Usually just get the fairytale drinks (which are brilliant if a little pricy) had the lunch board with the roast veggies and such. Delicious. Always bring my friends here, love it!
