I took my friend out to celebrate our anniversary. We have been to The European on at least 5 previous occasions and I knew it would be good. It was sensational. I had the oysters natural which were fresh and delicous and my friend had the foie gras - a staple that we have enjoyed previously. Our main meal was the rib eye special for 2. We have both raved about it - full of bbq flavour! We will definitely return for special occasions. The service was first class - always attentive, cheery and helpful. A good sense of humour in staff is always appreciated by us.

Not bad for a quick drink and oysters. Excellent service even I’m there for a glass of bubble and oysters. Bread serve warm and delicious.

Has a nice selection of wines

Wonderful service staff even with our two young kids (6 and 2 years old). We ordered the Chateaubriand to be done medium to well but it came well and very dry. The mushroom sauce was nice but wished there was more. For the price I wouldn’t order this again. We also ordered the black and white linguine fresh crab tomato and basil pasta. This dish was lovely. Not spicy as we requested for no chilli. It reminded me of Singapore’s chilli crab dish but cooked in pasta. Delicious! This dish saved the day.

In a word? Belissimo. Just what I needed. Food is yum. Wine is so very mmm. And I spoiled myself with fresh fluffy bombollino Service is of highest rate. Highly recommend on a summer day or night

Had a very enjoyable dining experience with a colleague as we had no reservation and the staff found us a table outside. Our waiter was extremely professional and made our dinner all the better. The food was perfect and made for a great time experiencing Melbourne on a bustling summer eveing.
