Good food but long waiting time

A great local bar for us with lots of options. Drinking, eating, partying. Great venue and friendly staff.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good range of beers.

Great bar.... if you’re white. Every single time I go here with my friend, who’s parents are Chinese and Vietnamese, he doesn’t get let in. Apparently he’s too intoxicated. Yeah, rightio. It’s the same story every time, and every time he has been less intoxicated than us, the white people of the group. The excuse last night from the bouncer was that it (being alcohol) “affected THEM differently” - seriously? THEM. Asian people? ALL Asian people????????? All 4.1 billion people in Asia? Furthermore, the most aggressive verbal abuse I have received from anyone occurred in the booths at the front bar. Think of the worst things you can say to someone, and this is what was being hurled at my friend and I for politely asking two guys to please let us catch up alone. We’re those men Asian? NO - they were white. Do I make sweeping generalisations about ALL white males? No, I don’t. But apparently The Bank likes to make sweeping generalisations about ALL ASIAN MALES. I’m so sick of giving this place another chance. I’m a local and will take my wallet elsewhere.

Great craft beers out the back. Big deck when the weather is nice. Amazing Thai downstairs.

Very relaxing place

I heart the Bank Hotel! whether it's their share plates at Happy Hour or a club sandwich filled with juicy crabmeat and pickle chips. This is my Happy place in Sydney's inner west.

There are better places to be seen and enjoy the warmth of Newtown. Kelly's is the place to go in this suburb.
