Really good food & excellent service. We had four 'entrees' & one main & that was more than enough. Wine by the glass is a bit 'light on' in comparison with many other places. The service is friendly, too. If in Hobart & want something different to the usual fare, pay Syra a visit.

This was the second time I've returned to the absolute Gen of a restaurant, staff knowledgeable, the ambience fantastic and the food is out of this world! Do yourself a favour and book a table. They will do you a takeaway container if you order too much.

Flavours to die for!! AMAZING meal - an absolute highlight of our time in Tasmania. And the wait-staff were great too. Highly recommend booking though - we managed to get in on the waitlist - very lucky!!

Unique take on Middle Eastern cuisine, don’t expect your traditional hummus & bread! These dishes were definitely special and delicious, so flavorful, and the staff were lovely. The flathead special was the star of our meal. Highly recommend followed by a glass of araq.

Love this restaurant, always greeted with a smile followed by delicious food. The desert platter is a must have and complements the meal perfectly. My family and I order dishes to share and find this works well as this allows us to savour the flavours without overindulging. We have tried Syra for both lunch and dinner, nothing beats enjoying good food with family or friends under the umbrellas in Salamanca Place at this restaurant.
