Shop 7 376 Victoria Ave 2067, Chatswood
Absolutely fresh and delicious food!! Worth to wait in a queue.
I was looking for a good sushi place for our Sydney trip and found Sushi Kaido. Sushi was well prepared and fresh, great variety. Really enjoyed each bite. Hope they come to Melbourne one day 😊 💕
Didn’t know the daily special tuna belly ($20) was actually two pieces of sushi but overall it is good
Very nice sushi restaurant with an authentic Japanese vibe. The owner and chef are all Japanese and all sushi are prepared in front of you which made it quite appetizing. Had the soft shell crab sushi and several others - they were so good I finished them before I could get photos!
Amazing food! Very fresh, authentic definitely recommend!
The best place in Sydney! I’ve been to many sushi places in Sydney but all of them are too expensive and not really fresh. This place is small and always busy so you have to wait for a while to get a seat. They also have Japanese chefs which makes me feel more trustful 🤣 all the sashimi and nigiri are fresh. Eels are the best. All of them are thick pieces which are more valuable to compare with other places. Good service. Although they’re really busy, they always try to serve me as fast as they can. Will go back one day to try the deluxe sashimi platter 🤣
Great sushi! The original sushi train spawned from this very shop. The owner left the franchise because he wasn't happy with the quality and offsite prep. A staple of Chatswood sushi.
Authentic Japanese. Best sushi in Chatswood BY FAR. Covid safe. Rice is not dense but chewy. Sashimi also v fresh. Have a look at the specials board. The only downside is the wait but if you to early on a Tues you should be ok! They also don't have fresh wasabi but this is not a high end restaurant so this is understandable.
Fresh sashimi, well priced and delicious nigiri sushi here. This is my favourite sushi place as their salmon belly aburo, unagi (eel) and scallops are really well presented and tasty. The salmon caviar is awesome! Sushi kaido is my local neighbourhood gem
Saw people lining up so we thought we would try it out, sad to say it was an overall average experience. I don’t think it is normal for the nigiri to fall apart just by picking it up, the sushi rice was pressed too loose.
