Good food, well spiced. Great value for price as well. Staff were accommodating. Only minor complaint is, there isn't enough pandan sauce in their dessert.

This place is one of Sydney's first kaitenzushi (sushi-go-round) restaurants and till recently was formerly known as "Sushi Train" before it became a larger franchise. I've been a customer here for almost 20 years. Back then they actually used a large toy train set to deliver the dishes, hence the name Sushi Train. The train has since been retired over 10 years ago. I have a fond memory of a best friend decoupling the carriages twice in one visit here. Initially I was sad to see the business name change but then very happy to see the chefs are still the same. The menu has been consistent over the years. Best of all, the menu still has the main traditional dishes found in kaitenzushi in Japan. Then, from time to time, the other dishes in the menu are updated to suit the fussy diners of Sydney but never overdoing it with flamboyance. The owner's attention to detail in this establishment is spot on. The flavour of the food, the customer service from the staff, the size of the establishment and the decor used; it takes me out of Sydney just for a moment while I enjoy my food. It places me into a small kaitenzushi restaurant just like when I was living in Japan a few years back. When I really miss good old fashion Japanese food and customer service, I come here. ごちそうさまでした

The food us awesome here. However the staff are stupid and the manager is equally idiotic. The all you can eat is really pretty good ESP the wagyu set but it will cost you $70 per head!

Amazing pho. The best in Sydney. I visit their famous location in Marrickville often, and this place is equally as good.

Brand new Singaporean restaurant in main Chatswood Chase dining hall, looks to have opened this week. They are marketing themselves as Singaporean hawker food. Came in with my Singaporean wife during the lunch rush. Tried the Signature Hainanese Chicken Laksa and Penang Char Kway Teow. Loved the Laksa to the final spoonful. Chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Laksa stock is best on the Northshore? My wife was suitably impressed. Found the Char Kway Teow a little sweet, would have preferred slightly more char and spiciness. My wife enjoyed it though. Service was haphazard. Even though you are given a ticket for the next available table, I recommend you notify the waitress to save yourself from possible queue-jumping grief if you see one free up as there was more than one instance of queue numbering being missed/not adhered to. The waitresses can also get table numbering wrong with food orders and incorrect bills coming to your table in error (this happened at least half a dozen times during our meal). Most of these issues can be explained with the expected chaos of opening week so I would expect this to improve. As Asians in an Asian restaurant we are here for good food and that's what this place provides so we'll be back to try more items from the menu soon.

You can pick and choose items for your pho dac biet. No bun bo hue or spicy soup options. Glad to see kids (em be) sized pho. Their vermicelli (bun) options are good.
445 Victoria Ave 2067, Chatswood
quite a different experience - this no-frills upstairs eatery provides a wide range of fusion food - east doesnt so much meet west as smashes into it at high speed. the result is a weird but extremely tasty range of items seems popular with HK expats wide range of non-alcoholic drinks
