If you're okay with spending a bit, the sushi train is awesome. If you have time, instead of picking up sushi and going, try sitting down and choosing what looks good. Best experience with friends.
Seaweed wrapping had great texture and taste and rice was good too. Prawn and avocado is my favourite. Perhaps a bit expensive.
Sushi Hub is very popular. I was wandering around browsing for somewhere to eat. I spied the sushi train when I was looking at the counter sushi. To dine in there was a line, there is a QR code to check in for contact tracing if you dine in. I got a cup of water when seated. This was my first time using a Sushi train so I asked another person standing in line how it worked. Each plate is colour coded, after you've eaten, the pile of plates according to colour are tallied up, then you pay upon exit. There are make to order options as well as the train, from these I tried the Tempura Prawn and Mixed Vege Tempura (note the Tempura theme, I ๐งก Tempura) From the train I grabbed a Tempura Bean Nigiri and mini Egg Hosomaki. Pretty boring choices, but they tasted great and the experience was a first for me. Will defs try it again. There is one Unisex toilet which is pretty cramped with a baby change table, bin, a hand dryer, nappy bin and sanitary bin. The customer service is functional and hurried due to the constant in/out flow of customers.
The best and affordable dine in sushi train in Melbourne.
Best place to have Sushi. Price is reasonable. Staff are very Friendly. Place is always full. Can get spot if you can wait for few minutes. Chef provides an excellent dish collection.
We have been here a few times now and everytime we come the food is fresh, delicious and the staff are so friendly and approachable!
Pretty good place, definitely worth a quick visit from time to time.
Best sushi ihv had till now. Will compare with Japan when I go there but definitely at par with Singapore and rest of the world!
This is the second time. They charger me more. I just buy 2 inari scallop salad( 2.2 each) and 2 lobster salad (2.2 each) and 1 vegetable (1.8) and the girl charge me 12.40$. Please be honest with the client!!! Be carefull guys if u buy there. Check again!! And they never give the receipt.
Woah! This place knows how to do sushi and anything else that is Japanese. An amazing display of food available and does a fabulous business in passing trade because the eye-catching food begs you to explore more. The variety of food is extensive - something for everyone. Prices are pretty reasonable. You can eat in or takeaway. The dining area is small but still good. Of course, the sushi train is amusing for the novice or for kids. Service is fast and staff speak good English - usually. If you're looking for something quick or 'on the go' then this is the place. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible although a little tight.
