Are you open on ANZAC Day? We are taking our granddaughters to the theatre production of Wizard of Oz which begins at 6:30pm. If you are open on Anzac Day, what would be a reasonable time to make a booking to get to the theatre on time?

This was the best food experience all of us have ever had. All of us have eaten all over the world. Sean’s Kitchen Chef Table is the experience to beat all! The food was beautiful, the steak, so tender. The drinks kept flowing and we got to speak with the Chef. Asking what kind of knives he uses etc. The Chef that was cooking the meat had us all intrigued. So many different techniques.

Friendly attentive service. Food was ok. The squid and pork entree was nice. Steak well over priced, but tasty. Wine list a bit lacking to be honest, but enough variety for the average punter. A good place to go when the company is paying.

Had a function in the attic, absolutely gorgeous room! As a vegetarian the menu was fairly limited but as a steak and seafood restaurant, that's not surprising. Personally I found the host was a bit too quiet, not always offering refills or checking that meals were going to the right people etc. Overall a pleasant experience with great food though!

Food was excellent, service was great, but the music was too loud so we had to shout to talk to our friends

It all started when we found out about 20 minutes after sitting down that our table was rebooked and we needed to be out by 8pm. There was no mention of the 2 hour time window when I booked online and no correspondence from the restaurant suggesting as much either. Unfortunately, having to rush after getting the hurry up was the least of our problems. We shared a kingfish ceviche for entree and that was pretty nice, but the main courses were both well below what we expected given the reviews here. I had the prawn linguine and my wife had one of the fish dishes and you could smell them coming from the time the waiter reached the top of the stairs. Clearly the fish and the prawns were far from fresh so that meant it was impossible to enjoy them, so much so that it made the blandness of the meals more of a highlight. Even the simplest of things, the pasta, was overcooked and fell apart when trying to wind it on the fork. Quite frankly, it's insulting to be served up such food at a restaurant in this price range. One star is for the ceviche and the good service. Rest assured I won't bother going back.

Sean’s Kitchen located on the fringe of the historic Adelaide Central Railway Station/ Casino is owned and managed by head chef, Sean Connolly. The atmosphere is buzzing and inviting and the contemporary Australian cuisine spectacular. The team are warm, friendly, engaging and professional. Come hungry and enjoy the signature seafood and deliciously prepared exquisite cuts of meat and fresh produce.

We had a birthday function for 13 guests in one of the private upstairs rooms. The food was delicious including the freshest oysters. Service was of a high standard and the drinks flowed at a good rate. By the end of the night we felt quite special and spoilt. Thanks to Sean's Kitchen for looking after and feeding us so well. We will return.
