Savoy

Poor service, food decent, nothing to write home about. Chips were stale, burger was alright but probably not worth $17.

I have been going to savoy for many years and the last several times I have been over the last couple of years have been awful. the staff are rude, they never smile, they barely look at you and are never inviting - no matter how kind or smiley you are to them. the food is less than average and over priced for what it is. I don’t know how this place still operates.

A stark contrast to some much more cultured cafes in close proximity, but not cramped which makes it easier to relax. Staff seem quite green, almost didn't seat us until we suggested they join some tables. Also suffered from lacking glassware and key ingredients (then served incomplete dishes without informing us).

Food wasn't too bad. The Chicken Parmigiana is quite good.

Good food quickly, reasonably priced attentive staff

An hour to wait for a chicken schnitzel which wasn't even good. My biggest regret was that we paid when we ordered so I couldn't even walk away to go elsewhere.

The only thing I have enjoyed is the dates pudding..

Always good value for excellent food and retro decor.

Awesome place, great food for all the family

The toilets are absolutely filthy, haven't been cleaned in a very long time and wastepaper bin overflowing. We ordered our meal and while waiting for it asked that the radio above our heads be turned down, please. 'When I've got time,' said the waitress. The meal came -- overcooked schnitzel and lukewarm coffee. When we asked a second time could the radio please be turned down, the waitress yelled, 'That's the only thing that keeps me sane in this place.' We didn't eat our meals, we left. To add insult to injury, we were chased down the street by a staff member who said we didn't pay for the meal -- but when my husband said, 'You were the one who served me,' she agreed and left. After being stuck in a traffic jam for 2 and a half hours, we were already stressed. Avoid this noisy, dirty place at all costs! And hopefully the owner will sack his demented waitress who obviously hates customers.
