Rockpool Bar & Grill

Definitely one of the best steaks in Sydney. I had the Wagyu chuck eye and tried my friends rib eye on bone. Taste really good without sauce. It is expensive compared with other places. Staff are friendly, observant and professional. I am very happy with the service. Would I come back? this place is suitable for special occasions. I won't come back regularly due to the cost.

Great selection of menu items each created with top quality ingredients and care and attention to detail. We had a table of 10 and staff were attentive and helpful as we navigated through the options, catering for allergies and preferences alike. Wine sommelier on hand to pair to a short but well considered wine list (I suspect there is another list for those that don’t turn up in jeans and t-shirts that has a few more options). Each entree, main and desert was enjoyed by our party. The only let down and hence the 4 star review is the poor beer options - with such a wide range of local independent breweries the options were quite limited (4 pines and lord Nelson was the only real option on offer). The chorizo would have paired wonderfully with a crisp IPA and there were other opportunities missed.

My first experience. Definately not my last. This experience was definitely worth it. The staff we're so welcoming and the food was exceptional.

This is not a bad restaurant and the food was great but it's overpriced, and that is not an issue if the services were great if a restaurant Is expensive is because is good quality food and excellent service, the food was really good but the lady that gave us the service was really rude, she had a bad face all the time and sometimes we feel pressure to finish the food quickly for her behavior, but the worst part was when she charged 125 dollars more for a bottle of wine that we never ordered (the restaurant took care of that so everything is fine). I'm not going to come back there are better places.

Like everyone else says below, the service/staff is outstanding! Sat at the bar and had the crudo, a burger and glass of wine. All were delicious, only wish I had more time to try other dishes. Will definitely be going back soon!

Fantastic food and service. From the bar staff, to the restaurant. It all ran like clockwork. I had high expectations and Rockpool delivered. Food was well executed, and the staff did a good job explaining the dishes when asked. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this place. I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
