Every time we've been here the food has been delicious, with amazing flavours and quality ingredients. Service is efficient, though dishes come out in whatever order they are ready, often ask at once! We avoid the wait time by going between lunch and dinner. Highly recommended!
Every time I've been here it's been amazing. The 24hr beef curry is honestly one of the best things I've ever eaten. Cannot fault this place.
Rice Boi is my absolute favourite restaurant to go to. The food is incredibly delicious no matter what you get. My go to order is the Yellow Tofu Curry or the Crispy Eggplant Chips - the flavours are sensational. While I do find the inside seating a tad too loud with the music - the outdoor beer garden and seating along the water is beautiful. The staff are fantastic - always friendly and super helpful. Be sure to arrive earlier than you would usually because Rice Boi is a lot of peoples favourite restaurant and the line fills up quickly.
Took a few friends from Adelaide and Melbourne here tonight and we all understand why the line and wait to dine in is so long! The food was amazing everyone loved it. I've lived on the coast for 3urs and it's hands down the best food here π
Excellent vibe and great food, long waiting lines in peak time but definitely worth the wait. Portion sizes are great, and cost is more than reasonable also.
Good food but it is not worth the price and the service leaves a lot to be desired. They don't take bookings so you have to line up. The line is always very long and not covid safe at all. The tables are tiny and they bring all your food at once, so sometimes you have yo put some dishes on the chair beside you. You have to line up to order after lining up tobyet in. They don't give you table water. You have to walk through the packed restaurant to fill up a tiny cup from a communal jug. The food is nice but it is not at all worth the hassle and price.
Hecking amazing food.. seriously do yourself a favour.. the hype is real
In short. Great food. Not going to harp on the wait time and queue as that has been done enough here. If you can stand waiting for possibly over 45 minutes during peak times then you'll be rewarded.
Iconic! At last I get to try the famous Rice Boi for myself and it has lived up to expectations. Lucky to gain a carpark during the school holidays, we only had a short wait to be seated. Smiling young waitresses showed us to bar style seats and explained the ordering system. Small menu (good for a novice like me), prepared from an open kitchen. Dishes to die for! Highlight for me was the spring rolls followed by braised beef.
How the food here was amazing from the entrees to the curries, everything was fantastic including the wonderful service. The flavours of the food explode in your mouth, 2 dishes to mention were the pork buns and the chicken green curry were the best I've ever had, including my trips overseas. Can see why you have to wait to be served. Will definitely be back. Thanks guys food and service were awesomeππ
