15 Bligh St, Sydney
This place exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious. Gonna come back again
T-born steak was the best I’ve ever had.
OMG, I had no idea this place existed. The food is so delicious and interesting. The staff was great. The decoration so cool. The live band playing music was just amazing.
Best French restaurant! Amazing food, Fantastic atmosphere! But serive need to upgrade. We order bread for 3 times, Servers keep forget it and beer takes 20 mins to serve.
But don't get distracted before you've studied the menu. Lee's extensive line-up will call on all your decision-making skills. One of the first things to decide is whether to go down the "modern breakfast" route or hit the soul food section. The latter contains a handful of rice bowls and, to a non-Korean bruncher's surprise, perhaps – schnitzel.
Huberts is an outstanding bar and restaurant with all the attributes of a genuine top notch European eatery. From the 'killer' martinis (& other cocktails ) to the superb food - the Chateaubriand is outstanding and would not be out of place at a Michelin star restaurant in France When we noticed a relatively minor issue on the bill this was fixed in a heartbeat by a senior member when we raised it after leaving the venue. It has got to rate in the top Sydney venues for a great night out
French cuisine on point. So amazing! Quirky French restaurant with jazz vibes and awesome staff. We had the best experience, the food was divine, the staff were friendly and knew the menu well, which really makes a difference. We had the oysters escargot, cheese soufflé and blood sausage to start, followed by the steak and chicken with chips, cabbage and greens - everything was to die for. The steak melted in your mouth! Highly recommend. We’ll def be back!
It’s more of a dining for the environment than the food I would say after my dining experience at Hubert. The food are nice but not having the wow factor. And especially the steak we ordered was so tasteless and had to dip in the sauce to finish with it. Just thinking not really lived up to my expectations after having heard this place for so long and finally tried it.
I booked the movies and magnums experience and was quite disappointed and felt quite misled. I love the restaurant but would not go to this event again. For almost $150 per person, the buffet promised turned out to be a meagre serve of Maryland chicken, potato's and assorted lettuce. And there wasn't enough for everyone to get a serve of potato, let alone have 2nds. The dessert was a single profiterole, strictly limited to one per person. Our seats were hard wooden chairs that got quite uncomfortable. We only later realised that our row was added in, as the cinema seating was much more comfortable but they had clearly sold out. The wine was unlimited but we don't drink much...esp on a Monday. Really disappointed at the value of the event, given it was marketed as a "buffet". I know buffet doesn't necessarily indicate "unlimited food" but given the cost, we expected a feast. It's already a lucrative event, I don't even mind that it's just chicken and potatoes and profiteroles but the least they could do is provide enough food... how much would it have cost really to do an extra batch of potatoes and profiteroles? I wish there was a review available before I booked this event. Had I known what to expect, we would have just done dinner at Hubert instead.
Underground Jazz bar and theatre. Had the set menu in January 2021. Amazing food, fantastic drinks, incredible live jazz music and a wonderful setting. 10 out of 10, will go again.
