Port Arthur Historic Site

Unbelievable experience. This place is full of history and magic. It's beautiful, calm and gives you chills all over whenever you enter any of the buildings in the area. A visit is a must to this place for anyone who steps feet in Tasmania.

Excellent short talks and tours. Short enough to keep kids engaged. Some good activities for kids as well. Cafe food is OK but nothing special.

Amazing place! Totally recommend it :) They have different tours, different options, you get to choose the time of the day that works best for you. Definitely worth the day trip for! Just make sure you buy the extra tickets before you hop on the ferry at the gallery. They don't sell them on board.

Definitely go on a tour and then walk around all of the buildings, five yourself at least three hours.

It was great learning about everything and going and tours. The old buildings made wonderful photos.

Amazing to discover the history of the penal settlement from the 1800s

Beautiful place, I enjoyed walking around the houses and prison. It was very well done and well organised. The introductory walking tour was fantastic. Wish I had more time as I would've liked to do the audio tour. Worth the drive.
