Bit of a dud. It feels tired - certainly no sense of celebration re the magic of chocolate. Given the price of admission I would have expected more chocolate to taste. But of course it's all a bit of a set-up for paying full price for product on the way out.
Prices are steep. Products were stocked to target mainly tourists. Chocolates were okay, but half the products were filled Easter egg halves. Overall I don't think the combination of cuisines (chocolate bar and spicy food) work effectively.
Really enjoyed the tour! Educational, hands on, fun ... and delicious! Perfect for all ages. Our boys 7 and 9 really enjoyed it, as did we. Impossible to leave without buying something delicious from the shop. Temp checks and sanitizing at entry to keep everyone safe. Well managed.
Fun time for the family. The tour is interesting and engaging, lots of little activities and games to play. The chocolate tastes great as well and not over prices. Overall a good experience and worth the trip if you're in the area.
Pleasant people, yummy choccies, a lot of shelves bare as business is slow after COVID, worth a visit to help locals
Today my husband and I were refused entry due to having medical exemptions from wearing a mask. I am disgusted in the way we were treated, discrimination at its finest. I brought my family up to support a small business as I know many have done it tough during Covid, so to be refused entry based on medical conditions was beyond disappointing. Would never visit again.
Quality chocolates sold here albeit pricey. Hot chocolate drink was excellent. Service adequate.
Although we did not have time to do the tour, there was a large variety of chocolates available at the shop to purchase & enjoy. We ordered the Curry Lunch in the Cafe & thoroughly enjoyed it. The flavours were exceptional and the Chicken & Lamb was melt in your mouth, whilst the $15 price proved to be great value for money. The service was excellent and, even though it was extremely busy, the staff were very efficient, customer focused & polite.
Long trip home and this chocolate bar cat-fished me. Was hoping to get some delicious hazelnut brown chocolate but opened it to white chocolate.
This was a surprisingly entertaining spot to visit at Philip Island. Had been to the island many times before but hadnβt found the time to visit. Itβs fun for kids and adults alike.
