Pepper Lunch

Went here twice with my friend. Staffs are super accomodating and we don't wait too long for our food to be prepared. So in love with their sauce and matcha ice cream. Highly recommended.

The quality of the meals here has really gone downhill recently. I’ve been going to this same Pepper Lunch for years and the food tastes nowhere near the same as it used to. I went today and got an abysmal amount of meat on my plate. When I asked the waitress about it she told me that was the regular amount (this is despite the store display having much more meat) The quality of the meat has declined too, it was chewy, strong flavored and had a lot of gristle. To top it off I ordered the less pepper option and I got MORE pepper on my meal than my partner did. I used to recommend Pepper Lunch to all of my friends but now I will be warning them to stay away as it is not the same place it once was. They’ve cheaped out and you are getting ripped off.

Food was OK, small serving sizes. Average staff. But in a good location

Delicious hot plates at a reasonable price. Service is lightning fast. What more do you want? Make sure to upsize your meal.

It was busy, but the waiter was sooooo unnecesarily rude and not helpful. Should give 0 stars but I try to be nice.

My wife and I used to frequent this place a few times a week. It used to be better when Nick and Sandy were running the show. Upon our visit today. Staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. Food has become more expensive too. Some sort of customer service would have help. They even got our orders wrong.

Chicken Katsu was delish and it came out lightening fast. Drinks cost $4 but you don't get much and it's mostly ice.

Shocking service. First time here and not too sure how to order. Staffs are not bothered to explain. He keeps stocking drink... Once sit down, the boy just brought a bottle of water and left not even say anything. Paid 25$ for dinner. Steak is very plain, no flavour no sauce !!! but the sweet potato wedges is not bad to be honest.

Rude staff. Salty food and extremely long wait to use the self serve. Staff standing around despite long line to order. Ordered signature beef pepper bowl. Portions were not as big as before. Will return only if desperate.
