190 Wells St 3205, Melbourne
One of the oldest establishment in the South Melbourne area serving contemporary Taiwanese food. This place is always busy on the weekend so remember to book ahead. Their mince mince is cooked and seasoned nicely. The cold noodle comes in a heavy sesame sauce but the fried tofu and veggies makes it feel lighter to eat. Food - 8 Service - 9 Vibe - 10 Price - $$$
Not much has changed over the yrs but I do wonder what everyone is eating!! Everything except the rice is SALTY!!! the accompanying sauce gives it a different dimension but heck there’s nothing great! I can get better at a food court! The chicken was very dry and the most salty! the mince I really don’t know where to start but I wouldn’t order again. or actually I wouldn’t come back! Salty and the rice was hard! Yep! Save yourself the trouble.. Just go buy a packet of he Japanese curry and use all the cubes in it to cook whatever... The calamari.. was ok but it’s just fried.
Great food. Extremely friendly service! A great 'go to' option
Amazing and Fresh food. Flavours were really good, so was friendly service. House made sausage and special spicy noodles are a must try!
Great modern Taiwenese cuisine with vegetarian options available as well. Maybe a bit on the expensive end compared to neighbouring restaurants.
Great place to have Taiwanese cuisine. The food tastes delicious and price is reasonable.
Cosy Taiwanese eatery with delicious food. Service is good despite being a crowded restaurant. It is usually full for both lunch and dinner - reservation recommended to avoid waiting for seats. Try the beer with sour plum! It was surprisingly refreshing and paired well with the food
Awesome Pop Chicken and sticky ribs...purr purr!!
We love love love this place!! Best pop chicken and all their dishes are generally great! My kids can’t get enough of their pop chicken! We have tried basically everything on the menu over the years and nothing has been bad at all. Only thing is they don’t have bubble tea which is a bit unTaiwanese 😆 also be careful of the limited opening hours because somehow we always get caught when they are closed and remember to book a table! It’s a very very busy place! 😊
Another gem in the South Melbourne area. The pop chicken is delicious and not greasy at all! It’s best to book, especially for dining over the weekend as it gets quite full. They have some fun decoration too.
