Old Fernvale Bakery & Cafe

I'm not sure where this business gets their so called "awards" from. I'm thinking the owner must have a family BBQ and award them to themselves. Pies are sub-par and service is terrible. I should have read others reviews before wasting my money.

Wow. Amazing service. The pies are delicious. When I was a kid whenever my carer stopped by I hoped I would get something but I rarely did. I will definitely come again. (Just saying this isn’t my real name) also no thanks for a shout out. I live too far away for that. I would like to thank the owner for their response. I can’t come I’m afraid as I live in America. But I love all things good and bright (and how to train your dragon) please accept my most humble apology.

Huge range of pies and cakes. I have never had a bad pie here. Bonus is the coffee is great as well.

Beautiful rustic decor and friendly service. Hollandaise sauce on sourdough one of the best we’ve had. Pancakes not so much. Great coffee. Lovely place to spend a few hours with your people!

Beautiful little bakery and cafe have been coming for years and the staff are always friendly. The bakery food is amazing!

Had a steak bacon and cheese pie, was very average, couldn't find the bacon or cheese and it was tasteless. The place was unorganised kaos. Won't go there again.

Yummy bread, yummy food, great outdoor dining area. The pies are delicious, (but my wife's pies are better). We really enjoy coming out here for a feed. Quite close to Brissie. It's a good stop if you want to drive over the mountains back to the city :) EDIT: Response to Fernvale - my wife makes her pies from scraps ;)
