140 George St, The Rocks
Stunning modern art gallery! Thought provoking works ideally you will need at least 2-3 hours! And its free entry!
Considering weather ( pouring rain ) told to walk around building to front and again we wanted to go the rocks but told exit was opposite wAy. Not very friendly responses and just bad navigation. My 3 stars are for the staff in the shop who allowed us to put our bags down behind desk. Just be warned they donโt check in bags at front anymore either, so you have to carry them on your front.
great museum. free entry. right at the rocks. definitely worth a few hours to look around .
MCA after dark is a great night out.the cafe is a great place to start the night: good food and very good service.
My wife and I went to see Lindy Lee at the MCA - an amazing in site into the mind of a great Australian Artist/Sculpture - take the time to watch some of the videos before the seeing the works, this really sets the scene. Great job to all....
Always lovely to visit this museum by the Quay - and many exhibitions are free. Often uplifting to see the range of work thatโs Indigenous, local and international. If only there was more meow art (I did spot Pablo Picatso). The cafe/bar on level 4 is one of the best spots to enjoy Sydney. The shop is also a treasure trove for all ages and tastes. 5 paws ๐พ๐พ๐พ๐พ๐พ
Splendid, just splendid. Make sure you make it up all the levels - all the way to the cafe with harbourviews to die for!
went and viewed the Lindy Lee: Moon in a Dew Drop exhibit, which was totally awesome, also the other exhibits that were running were equally interesting and inspiring. the weather was extremely in the highs and it was a good place to spend time with friends, walking around viewing the exhibits. always an exciting place to visit! also dont forget to check out the books and postcards at the MCA STORE! sometimes when i'm in the area, i just visit the store because of all the nicely weird, cute and different things you can find. this place is also conveniently located from Circular Quay station and close to many restaurants, bars and cafes. general entry is free, although some exhibits hold a ticket price๐๐ผ be sure to check out their rooftop sculpture cafe!
Lovely staff and cool exhibits. Toilets we're a bit messy, but not terrible.
Loved our visit here. It was free entry and the terrace cafe has a great view!
