Enjoyable museum with interesting exhibits and in an awesome location on the harbour. Really enjoyed the Lindy Lee exhibit recently. Step free access via George St entrance (main entrance during Covid); only exit is harbour side. Lifts available between floors. Cafe/bar upstairs with lovely harbour/opera house views. Open till sunset Fri evenings with some special events periodically (used to have.Artbar monthly for 18+. Hopefully resumes soon).

The MCA is a great place to spend the day. I can’t believe it’s free! The galleries are carefully curated and each very interesting. You can easily spend a few hours enjoying everything the museum has to offer. We had a wonderful time.

The MCA is a building smack bang in the middle of The Rocks / Circular Quay - the building is beautiful and the location stunning with plenty of places for a meal or drinks in the area. The museum isn’t very large so can be explored in a couple of hours or less. I saw the Lindy Lee: Moon in a Dew Drop exhibition and it is well worth the visit as it has some really cool works. Entry is free but donations are appreciated. Entrance is via George Street only, exhibit on harbour side. Parking available at the Overseas Passenger terminal next door or easy transport links via ferry, train, light rail and buses as Circular Quay is a main transport hub.

An amazing diamond in the centre of the Rocks, Sydney , Australia. An art space as unique as the outback itself. World class art on display accessible to everyone for the cost of some curiosity. Staff ready to answer any question regarding the works on display. A must visit venue for anyone visiting Sydney .
