I'm here just now, having an excellent beer. But I have just seen 4. Staff behind the bar, helping themselves to a drink of beer. As far as I know, that is not allowed. I would have never let my staff drink when they are working, especially in front of customers. Thanks for your reply, and letting me know

Awesome little craft brewery in the mountains. If you stop through the mountains and you like a frothy, you best stop here!

Definitely a must visit when coming up to Katoomba. You would not think anything of this building driving past on the street but the inside is truly a comfy place to spend an afternoon with stylish trendy retro deco! Friendly staff always happy to help you choose your beer choices and a kitchen to cook up a hearty burger. We shared a tasting paddle and got to enjoy what mountain culture beer co has to offer. We'll be back to visit again!

After a Blue Mountains bush walk, our group headed to Mountain Culture Beer Co for some lunch and it was incredible. Everyone in our group raved about the selection of beers - created by the owners - particularly the Status Quo NEPA, which we bought several of on the way out. The burgers were delicious (the fried chicken one was outrageously good) and the service was really friendly and super quick. The space is really beautiful too and has all the old world charm of the mountains with modern touches. Plus, there was a little play area upstairs with some toys that meant we could eat lunch without interruptions. We’ll be back ASAP.

Really interesting place. Great beer selection. Krampus at 10% is definitely the evil spirit of Christmas - but delicious!

Description

Our brewpub is sitting pretty in a heritage building in Katoomba, in the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains National Park. Our building was originally the Blue Mountains newspaper offices & printing press. When we picked up the keys, it was a Civic Video store. Now, it's home to our brewpub featuring a 12 hec Premier stainless system. We brew a range of beers, from easy drinking lagers crisper than pre-dawn mountain air, to experimental NEIPAS to big Russian Imperial stouts. The question that keeps us up at night is: how can we make the next batch even better?
