Great venue and food. Like a lot of places the staff have got to pay more attention to their customers than trying to be instafamous

Fabulous atmosphere-- they really committed to the theme, and we loved it. Good food, (especially the grilled broccoli and the crispy brussels sprouts-- fantastic) but you really go for the beautiful little mead starter and the great beer drunk straight from a horn. Lots of fun surprises and an amazing cocktail menu. Definitely recommend!

Concept is cool, but food is wayyyyy below average, tasteless bland dishes. Waitresses had a hard time smiling and were acting like they didn't even want to be there. Definately wouldn't come back.

Came here for my 30th birthday and it was wonderful! We were served by Jess who was super attentive, we ate bone marrow (absolutely delicious) and pickled mussels for starters, and then had the lamb chump and beef rib. I have to say, everything we ate was truly excellent, probably more so because I had just done Veganuary. On the subject on veggies; I can also highly recommend the carrots - they were two large baked carrots with a crispy skin and a zesty tahini sauce. My boyfriend and I are still raving about them 🥕🥕 Probably my favourite part of the whole experience was drinking mead cocktails out of horns - I felt like an extra in Game of Thrones. Loved it. 100% would come again.

The portions are enormous and the food is quite delicious. They really commit to the theme with waitresses in corsets and leather, leather bound menus, Norse inscriptions on the wall, and drinks out of rams horns - so depends how into themes you are. As part of the meal you have to choose a "weapon" (knife) from a leather holster, the look like LOTR weapons.

We made a booking for 8 of us, it was really authentic walking downstairs to the restaurant and had a great Viking vibe. Friendly staff initially and a lady took us through the menu, we chose the set menu which was good. Plenty of food, but once we got to just before 9pm we were told that the table was needed for another booking. We were then moved to the bar and told our dessert (which was a part of the set menu) would be served to us at the bar. We waited about another 40 minutes for dessert and all of us were standing around waiting, no one offered us another drink and there were other vacant tables available. We asked if we could then sit down at one of the 3 vacant tables, which they agreed to. We then had to wait another half hour for drinks. It was so bazaar as it was like we were invisible, clearly they did not care to serve us. It really put a dampener on the night, it was our annual Christmas catch up with friends and not only was it quite expensive but the service at the end was such a let down. Everyone was begging for a drink, we definitely won’t be returning and unfortunately won’t be recommending it to anyone either.
