Great food but not worth $62/head because therewere 11 of us so had to have the fixed price menu.! Probably had the equivalent of $30 worth of food each. Also not impressed we were charged a $125 gratuity. Tips should be optional.

Amazing Mexican
Great to be back at Mejico - this place always delivers for a great experience dining out! The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great (lively but not too loud), and has a huge range of tequila. The staff have always been super friendly. Special shout-out to Chris who is very helpful and lovely!
I always book Mejico knowing I’ll have a good time, enjoy tasty food, and create fun memories. It is truly my go-to restaurant, for all occasions! I recently came back with a friend (first time since COVID started), and received the most phenomenal service by Chris. He patiently listened to our preferences and made sure we got what we wanted. Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner experience as always, can’t wait to come back!
It's expensive and the food is not that great. I d rather stay at home and do my own really fresh meat to fill my empanadas, and w normal good portions. Am not recommending. Try hard high class restaurant w little standards in that regards. Obviously it's a business restaurant not a restaurant so customer can enjoy food. They should get their horses alined in the right order. One comes before the other so you then can make money. But nowadays we are all so desperate for the $$ aren't we?
Food was amazing!! Loved the experience of making food directly at the table, so it could be made to our taste. Great atmosphere and special shout out to Jimmy for being so fabulous!
Loved the guacamole and plantain chips, the beef empanadas and the chicken tacos (great sharing plates for 2). Jalapeno poppers were less spicy than I had hoped, but still tasty.
Overpriced
Great service, comfortable and good, fresh, quality Mexican food. Thoroughly enjoyable. I will be back there soon.
Pros -Quality of food is top notch -Guacamole - made fresh at the table, great flavours, more plantain needed per guac bowl -Patatas Bravas - very well cooked, sauce is delicious -Margaritas, good quality, made correctly -Watermelon salad - refreshing, fresh; a bit too much pepper Cons -Staff run off their feet running around kills the vibe -Really hard to get anyone’s attention to order food and drinks - looked around for more than 10 mins then tried 4 times to wave staff down for attention but still count get any service This restaurant needs to either desperately hire more staff or roster more staff on for peak periods.

My husband and I discovered this restaurant on our first trip to Sydney 3 years ago. We loved every single thing then, they had jalapeño poppers to die for, corn cob with chipotle sauce on top and few popcorn(never had better), beef tacos simply delicious, tuna tostadas...yuuummm!!! But... this year they didn’t have the corn, they did some modifications on the beef tacos and the jalapeño poppers were different. Still delicious but not to die for. I wish they never changed the menu. Staff is always nice and friendly. Service is great.

Fantastic food! The corn ribs were delightful and the watermelon dukkah salad was Devine. Senior Sous Chef Steve and his team were so accommodating for our friend with celiac.
Great service and food was delicious. Signature Margarita was smooth. The order was Mushroom cerviche w/ corn chips, grilled halloumi, crispy fish Tacos and BBQ beef brisket.
