Verdict: Tacos that pass the taste-test of even a native Californian - and for $5?! Yes, please. El Loco is located on Faveaux Street in Surry Hills inside the Excelsior. It's Dan Hong's new venture and having been to both Ms.G's and now El Loco - I'm pretty sure I'd be a fan of anything Dan Hong cooked up. We've ordered all of the tacos and my favorites are the Al Pastor (pork with pineapple salsa), the Cameron (prawn with salsa verde) and the Pollo (chicken with sweet corn salsa). The tacos are small, but surprisingly quite filling. My one complaint - $13.50 for a teeny tiny margarita in a plastic cup? Okay fine...since that $5 taco was delish, but really?!

Tio's has great pedigree with the owners being former bartenders at Darlinghurst hotspot, Shady Pines. The bar resembles a Mexican tequileria and is decorated with gaudy nick nacks such as chilli shaped lights, candles and owl statues entirely befitting its character. Like Shady Pines, complimentary snacks are offered when you purchase a drink, in this case it's a Mexican spiced popcorn, the perfect accompaniment to a margarita. The bar has an extensive collection of tequilas, a few local and Mexican beers, a short but interesting wine list and an extensive list of $10 cocktails, meaning a visit to this bar doesn't need to break the bank. It's worth getting a seat early, as this place can pack out in the evenings, and if you don't get a seat, it's worth the wait.

Food and pricing are good. Excellent convenient location and beautiful restaurant. Kind staff happy to recommend dishes on the menu. Only issue is that waitress may forget part of your order

Delicious vegan food and friendly service with great wine to match. They played a mix of old music while there that added to the experience. 🌮

This is an excellent venture which serves delicious food based on the dishes of countries where the Jesuits run Mission projects, not to forget the yummy Korean chicken which my children love. Staff are super friendly and accommodating as we took our family of 6 children in for meal on a number occasions. Set in the old Commonweatlh Bank building in Broadway , the cafe/bar has been transformed into a vibrant, colourful, fun place for a catch up with friends, family or colleagues. Enter by the laneway entrance, under the strands of lights and you will not be disappointed. We were so surprised by how generous the desserts were. If you in the city looking for a good meal in a great environment, head to the two wolves for a great time, even if only for a drink. It is a new Sydney experience not to be missed. You will happy to know all profits are used to fund much needed overseas aid projects. The walls are adorned with images of some of these. What a fantastic place to go.

Great food. I really like that the food tastes really authentic. I love Mexican food and this is one of my favorite restaurants to go to. My only complaint would be the dining area is outdoors only and it gets cold in the winter.

My family have owned and operated Mexican Restaurants for 25 years so mexican food is a favourite. Guzman Y Gomez's quality far exceeded my expectations. When in RPA hospital last year, every day I ordered food from Guzman Y Gomez. It definitly made the week pass easier. Love the staff, energy and food. What more can you say?!

Nice mexican place. The food there is tasty yet it somehow manages to seem healthy. The place also serves food really fast so you don't have to wait long for food.
