Wasn’t sure what to expect but it was amazing. Love the dining booths and venue had good vibe. Service was excellent and food was very high standard at not so crazy prices. Would go back for sure.

Stunning decor, truly amazing service, and the food was GREAT. The burrata with olive jam was especially yum. Perfectly cooked swordfish too, well accompanied by the crunchy green salad. Oysters and negroni also a stand out!

Marrah... where do I even start?? Oh I know the Watermelon Margarita!! Followed by the Fresh Burrata Salad and Char-grilled Octopus. Don't forget the Rump steak. Ahh so much I love about this place. Great price, food and service. Def my favourite restaurant in the East. A must try again and again!!!

So glad to have a great new restaurant in Coogee, such a change from the old restaurant in the Coogee Bay. Our meals were delicious and service great. The atmosphere was lovely. Decor is fabulous. Highly recommend it and will be back.

Had the most amazing evening with some friends. The food was incredible and presented so beautifully. The cocktail list was impressive and also made classic drinks to order, with super pretty garnishes and glassware. The service was amazing, so attentive and warm, with a real good knowledge of the menu and accompaniments. Generally the atmosphere was perfect, with the restaurant decor and well presented staff, this place defiantly gives the vibe of an upmarket establishment, without any pretentiousness. Could not recommend this place more. Only suggestion I’d make, is more vegetarian options.

Went here for breakfast a few weeks ago, as our first choice was closed and I'd heard it was good. Well it was OK... a little overpriced for what it actually is. The staff were nice enough - they get the stars... but the coffee not hot enough and the food a little sparse for the price. Pretentious a little as it's a pub. I had the smoked salmon Eggs Benedict, the smoked salmon was tasteless and I was a little offended actually. I've never been to brekkie and paid $25 for EB with smoked salmon or otherwise and it's been served with 2 eggs on 1 (yes one) piece of sourdough.. and it must have been a small loaf too. My friend had the corn fritters and she said they were rather bland and not hot. So I won't be going back - there are several places in Coogee and surrounds that make the bomb Egg Benny - without the pretence.

Excellent food and impeccable service! Good dining atmosphere too with its cool refurbishment of the previous Coogee Bay Hotel bistro area. And what made our dining experience most memorable was the attentive, friendly service provided especially by Emma and Abdoul! Thanks everyone! This has just become one of our favourite local Coogee restaurants and would definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

The food & service was first class. The dishes were to die for & everything was delicious. I can see myself going back regularly. It takes a lot to impress me & I walked away very impressed.

A first, but definitely not last, time at Marrah for dinner last night. On a rainy, cold evening, Marrah was warm and inviting. This is a much welcomed upmarket, dining experience in Coogee with an extensive wine selection, delicious food (the swordfish was so sublime I forgot to take photos for this review) and the ambience was divine. The service was excellent and we loved the decor reminiscent of Riley Street Garage and the Centennial. Perfect for date night but also medium and large groups. Something for everyone and provides a great alternative to the Coogee Pavilion. Will definitely be back as would love to see what it’s like for lunch ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Refurbishment looks great and service was lovely. Nice atmosphere. Reason for 3 stars however - they advertise themselves on Instagram as open for pastry and “barista made coffee” in the morning so I stopped in for coffee. It was dreadful, easily the worst I’ve had in Coogee (see photo of how it looked on arrival). If you’re going to charge $4 for a single shot coffee and advertise for morning business, you’d better make sure your staff know how to make a decent flat white. I’m sure it would be a brilliant lunch/dinner spot though
