Marra Bar & Grill

An absolutely enchanting dining experience! I came for dinner on a Sunday evening and first met friends at the bar for a drink. From the moment I walked in I was so charmed by the venue and staff. The place is both grande and stylish yet warm and intimate. The food was exceptional - I'm a big seafood lover so the scallop and octopus starters were a big stand out for me. The flavours were just incredible - really playful and balanced. Marrah's definitely pushing the Coogee dining scene to new heights! Thanks for a wonderful time x

Absolutely love visiting Marrah!! Have been here a number of times since their open and i can without a doubt say that it is my new favourite place to drink at Coogee. Cocktails are deliciously high quality and both the bar and dining fit-outs are beautiful. 100% in love! (Try the Garibaldi's Kiss cocktail, my favourite on the menu!)

Impressed by the set up. Good selection menu. Well priced drinks and Great service. Its great not having to shout over dinner too. Overall food and presentation was very good. Look forward to next time.

We took our soccer team here and the food and service was out of this world. Go for the set menu, best bang for your buck. You will not leave hungry!! Highly recommend!

I’ve been to Marrah a couple of times before and had a great meal but clearly the care factor has gone. At the very start we literally had to hunt out a waiter to get seated We got served champagne in red wine glasses we were told they didn’t have any flutes Three out of six mains were disappointing, served with a limp tasteless salad, at least the fries were good. I complained giving specific feedback on comparison on to the food on previous visits and I was treated with such disdain, wait staff laughing at our complaints.. This restaurant clearly doesn’t give a s**t about its customers

Gorgeous service. Stunning food. Very quiet, but I can't think why. More people need to know about this new place!!!! Really lovely. Can't wait to come back.

Completely disappointing! I live in Coogee and like eating here locally. I love Marrah's atmosphere, but the food is entirely disappointing. This is my first negative review for a restaurant. I have tried Marrah 3 times after their renovation, and here is my experience: The first time was good; they just opened and took care of everything. The second time we invited some friends, the food wasn't good but wasn't that bad to complain about. The third time which was a few nights ago was a disaster. I order 300g Grandchester black Angus rump cap, and my wife ordered 300g Rangers Valley scotch fillet. She ordered medium-well, but her steak was hardly row plus the quality was nothing close to $44 price. My Angus was one of the worst steaks I have had in the last five years. What surprised me more was the restaurant reaction when I complained. They didn't even bother themselves to apologise! I asked if they have changed the chef recently, they said they had changed their menu two weeks ago! My wife didn't touch her food, and I barely ate half of my steak when we left the restaurant. No recommended at all!

Great upgrade from the restaurant before, really nice food and of course an unbeatable location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Must try it you are into Mediterranean food! Drink service could be a bit faster
