Palace Hotel 15 Goulburn St Haymarket 2000, Sydney
The roti is freshly made when You order
Food is good but the queues are so long and the waiting staff are very rude. They have a good reputation so it is crowded always but they need to have a good customer service. Disappointed
No wonder everyone queue up outside. The Satay chicken is so amazing and roti as well. Absolutely delicious!
Mamak is an institution in Sydney CBD if you are craving for authentic Malaysian food! There's always the queue outside and you can see the chefs cooking the Roti from the window. Good food and good price. 🇲🇾🍛
Went for the 1st time and ordered 'Mee Goreng Noddles'. Oh my God they were heavenly. The best noodles iv tasted in Sydney I guess. Totally recommend this place. Was so tempted to buy their roti's too, Next time maybe. Love it. Keep it up. Also everything is 100% halal so definitely coming back here with family
Food was delicious and authentic. Just a bit disappointed with nasi lemak sambal which was too little as compared to the amount of rice.
Awesome food.. Nothing to complain.. .. One thing I wanna share about the place is about the folks working there.. Their amount of energy is amazing.. They don't have a minute to relax and I was so inspired by the way they work.. It's just unbelievable.. Keep up the good work n thanks for your hospitality..
Food is good, but service is awful. The reception tall gal wearing glasses has full of attitude, no smile on her face and no eye contact, the way she talks very rude.
The guys at Mamak make their delicious Malaysian roti fresh, and it really shows. We ordered the roti planta which was buttery and soft, as well as the chicken murtabak. The murtabak wasn’t as traditional as ones we’ve had in Singapore and Malaysia, but still tasty nonetheless. They are also known for their delicious satay skewers and sambal sauces, which are available to purchase and take home. At less than $10 per roti dish, Mamak is definitely a winner if you’re looking for value. If you’ve never had Malaysian food before, this would be a good place to start!
Genuine Malaysia food. Tasty and a bit spicy
