Maha Restaurant

A cosy underground venue with staff who are warm and hospitable. Our waiter Dirk was fantastic, his recommendations were on point and he was very attentive. The food is so delicious and servings are very generous, I highly recommend coming in a group to try more dishes. The flavours and textures are rich and inviting.

Lamb shoulder in the main course was the hit, super tender and tasty. Ambiance and staffs are super welcoming… Other than that price was unreasonably high compared to quantity and taste of other items in entree and desert.Went for Soufra-90 AUD PP but when saw the quantity you feel you are actually paying too much for these. Plus taste wise it did not give us extraordinary experience. Disappointed with desert… Good for one time experience for me!!! Thank you.

A nice place to try meditation food. The place has a good atmosphere and the staff members are very friendly and helpful. The place tend to lean towards the expensive side , but its worth it. I enjoyed the meal and the experience.

Took my mother here for an early Mother’s Day. Honestly, I looked for “nice restaurants in Melbourne CBD” and this came up as one of the options, so I thought, why not? Best decision. Food was delectable and the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Happy and helpful staff. Ambiance was exquisite. Will definitely be back.

Had the most amazing box of food arrive from Maha (through providoor). Our first experience having dinner at home from a restaurant and we couldn't ask for a more incredible experience. The preparation and presentation was incredible. Easy to follow directions with the end result being the most incredible flavours of food. We have absolutely had a ball tasting such a range of Maha specialities. Will definitely visit in person. Cannot stress enough how delightful this experience has been. A big thank you to Maha chefs and team. X

Amazing service and very friendly, professional staff. The vegan soufra is delicious and the dessert was especially tasty. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because although the food was great, it wasn't mind-blowing. For the price, I would expect just slightly more unusual flavour combinations and techniques. Also, I would have loved a little more bread in the Meze, as there was a lot of dip and only one small piece of bread per person. Overall though, wonderful experience.

There are no words to describe how amazing the food is….I’ve been around the world and never in my life have I experienced anything as amazing as this!! The food is to die for!!! I had a foodgasm lol Worth every penny!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!! Well done! The stuff were also amazing.

There is a very good reason this establishment often makes top ten lists on Broadsheet for Middle Eastern cuisine, or just fine dining in general. Everything from the aesthetics, the service, and most importantly the food, is top notch. The first time we dined here was for a low-key anniversary and took every supplemental dish and special on the lunch menu. It was a struggle for a guy my size, but everything was so delicious it really was a, "Just one more bite" situation until there were no more notches left on the belt. Worth every cent. Highly recommend.

I came here for the very first time for lunch. It was a pleasantly great experience..the food was lovely and the service fabulous. We didn't have to wait for the food...the timing was great. Impressive and will definitely return! I recommend this place.
