KINDRED Restaurant

A delightful local gem, visited for a friend's birthday dinner after another friend's glowing recommendation. Every item was utterly delicious - the bread was bouncy and flavoursome, the pasta cooked to perfection and the fillings complimented the sauces brilliantly. It's hard to pick a favourite, but I would probably say the carrot pasta parcels - the butter sauce was out of this world. My friend said the pork chop was the best she had ever eaten. They also do a good variety of wine and cocktails.I loved the Chardonnay, and the elderflower cocktail was also a winner. A great place for a dinner for two or group, with a solid range of vegetarian and vegan options. Worth doing the tasting menu if you have matching dietary requirements (which I will absolutely do next time).

Absolutely divine dishes, large portion sizes, life changing bread. Like seriously I went back the next day to buy their bread from the takeaway part of the restaurant. Super friendly staff, and a really nice space to eat in. I can't wait to go back.

Delicious and love the decor and environment in this small restaurant. Can feel the warmth from people working there. The little and only disappointment was the pasta was a bit hard to chew. Best tiramisu I’ve tried so far btw.

This place is a hidden gem. Ordered the tasting menu and for 58 dollars it's definitely worth it. Everything was flavoursome and we left the restaurant feeling satisfied. The restaurant itself is super cosy. Would highly recommend!

Excellent food and great service. Pleasantly impressed. For entree, we had chicken liver pate and tuna-tartar-ish, which were great. Then had the lasagne (classic!), short ribs (a disappointment to some extent) and the agnolotti, which were beautiful.

Authentic & Tasty Italian Food in a cosy setting! We there for lunch and got the 5 course vegetarian set menu which was so good and filling !! Worth the money as well. Highly recommend.
