175 Katoomba St 2780, Katoomba
Service was fast but the place was dated, dirty and the food was not worth it. The burger was small and, even thou g h it had enough satay sauce, it was bland. The sandwich, which we asked for salad on, only had rocket and no other vegetables. Have been here before in the past but it has changed recently and won't be returning
Worst service I have ever experienced. When food finally arrived it was the wrong order. Food was tolerable but NOTHING to rave about.
Over priced, below average food and service in a dirty, out dated and cluttered environment. Would be easier to just avoid. I feel like their business runs purely on tourists who don’t know better..
A great vibe and one of the nicer cafes in this part of Katoomba St to sit & relax with a nice coffee and some great new food choices. The new owners are working really hard to bring excitement and friendly service, well worth a visit.
Came here after a hard hike and couldn't be happier - really solid food (we had the rump steak and crispy pork), the sauces / seasoning were particularly good. Served pretty quickly, comfy chairs, fairly quiet for being on the main street... Just really solid.
Best coffee i have had in the Blue Mountains so far. Excellent food, friendly staff, and well price.
Great coffee and comfy warm seating
You don’t so much visit this cafe as get taken hostage! A seemingly half full restaurant with a warm inviting fire is at first appealing, but things take on a strange feeling that there is a alternate storyline as you sit amongst other empty (no food) tabled guests whose faces start resemble POWs resigned to their captivity by ever growing hunger. Not knowing whether to complain to the very nice guys that work their or leave, hope springs eternal that this is in fact one of those places where the food is worth the wait. Sadly it isn’t. We visited for breakfast and eventually got out at lunchtime, luckily they are able to process your payment super fast, you can sense freedom, you make a break for it, the sunlight hurts your eyes a first, but you are free and just left with the memories (or scars depending how you look at it).
Quite a large indoor dining area with a fireplace. Tables seems to be squashed in though and the wait staff seemed uncomfortably busy. Hot chocolate was good, chocolate cake and apple pie were good. I thought the prices were too high for what we got though, I assume because of all the tourists visiting the three sisters. No toilet facilities on site.
5 if us ate here and we were all thoroughly disappointed. Each of us were looking forward to the meals we expected from the menu and every one of us were shocked and appalled at the dishes we actually received. For the absolutely outrageous prices we paid, the dishes were completely underwhelming, tiny in portion, all cold and bland, we were completely unsatisfied. From the wedges to the milkshakes, everything tasted awful. Service was slow, inconsiderate and rude. Overall a horrible experience and would never recommend anyone to eat here.
