Each trip to WA I always have a feed here because I know the quality and tastiness is unquestionable.

Had a seafood platter made up of our choice of local produce. Oysters, chilli mussels, occy, prawns, scallops and local pickled sardines. Fresh beautiful seafood with our favourite being the sardines. A few beers on the deck. Perfect way to spend the afternoon! Thankyou!!

Absurd prices that do not justify the quality of the food. You have to pay for sauces and water. 30 minute wait for fried fish and no seating in sight. One of the few places open in Freo on a long weekend but you're better off avoiding all together. This place has become a money printing machine that brings shame to the Kailis name.

Great food staff were all great clean and comfortable Resturant .Really enjoyed our visit.

Great food and great people! The food taste amazing especially the seafood chowder. The only that I didn’t like is that they didn’t provide the pricing of the oyster. I suppose it has the do with the fluctuating market price? Regardless, the oyster taste very fresh!

Dying for some oysters. Briny, strong copper taste this time. And ordered some more flavoured squid and octopus. A bit of too oily for me. Overall, it is a place that I constantly visit for seafood. Quality always controlled and won’t be disappointed.

The $19 seafood chowder in sourdough bowl was nice, lots of generous chunks of fish and 3 little mussels. No scallops or prawns like other seafood chowders, but they saturate the bread bowl lid in garlic butter. Would be better toasted! Seafood chowder is enough for two people if you're eating the bread too. The unnamed fish that came with the fish and chips was excellent, very fresh and tasted perfectly cooked. Unfortunately the chips weren't good, they tasted a little undercooked and similar texture to KFC fries but worse. The fish and chips came unseasoned, there's a DIY salting station where you pick up your order and you have your choice of chicken salt, chilli salt, etc. $3 sauce tubs, but you can ask for complimentary tomato sauce sachets at the register. Overall 3 stars as we enjoyed our meal, but probably won't be back as the food wasn't standout. No water for the tables, only bottled water. We also saw cockroaches on the floor by the tables, which was off-putting. Warning: Parking inspectors aggressively roam the tiny carpark outside, waiting for tickets to tick over - make sure you keep an eye on the time! Almost half of the cars there had been issued parking fines when we left after Saturday lunch.

For a seafood co-op, I don't rate Kailis very well at all. Yes it's location is second to none, but that's about all it's got going for it. The food is consistently very average, not fresh at all & IMPORTED! Crazy when we have everything we need on our own doorstep. The sides had so much salt it was inedible & the chips were cold. I'd rather pay a little more & eat at one of the restaurants along the wharf.

Fantastic food and lovely staff. Prices not too bad either. Fish was very fresh. For the bbq stuff go through the restaurant first, the beginning area is just fried food.
