Food is always delicious. Service always efficient. Except, when I was there last week, I sat next to the ice cream counter, which is next to the waste food disposal bins. This in itself is a very slack attitude in any dining area. This standard of presentation is very disturbing to say the least and must not be overlooked and addressed immediately. The bins were very full and extremely smelly. Emptying waste bins in the dining room, less than one meter from diners, is absolutely disgusting not to mention a health hazard. Other diners close by also commented on how this practice needs to be seriously and swiftly rectified. Also, a smell of rotting fish coming from the rear of the premises was overwhelming. All in all, the worst experience ever at Kailis' Fishmarket Cafe.

The Seafood Chowder is a family favorite of ours. The chowder filling in the massive bun is more like a decadent chunky soup. The updated bun lid with garlic butter is crispy and a welcomed addition. The outside of the bun itself could have been more crispy on the outside but that is nitpicking. New Zealand mussels were light and tasty. Yummy. Staff are friendly and professional.

Had a seafood platter. It was delicious. Excellent value for money.

Went on a Tuesday, given seniors discount. Fish and chips lovely. Crispy batter on fish. Lovely friendly service Not expensive either.

It's comfortable an you have a lovely views of the ocean surrounding area with good food for thought 👍😀
