Kailis Fishmarket Cafe

I expected much better from Kailis. My chilli mussels were disappointing. My husbands' fish and chips were very ordinary. Neither meal served hot. We wouldn't have minded the wait if our meals were good.

Fresh n yummy. This place is huge. There are few services counters, fresh seafood, fish n chips, bar, dessert areas. Spacious sitting area outdoor. They’re so busy on Saturday nite but it didn’t take too long to take n receive your order which is very nice.

A nice place to eat by the water however, the battered fish that I had was 1/2 the size that I'd get at home in Manly. Looking at the huge ocean going trawlers in the water in front of the restaurant that haul in tonnes of fish made me think that the serving of fish could easily have been more generous. I ordered my meal from the regular counter but my wife ordered from the gormet counter. Unfortunately, her meal cost more and was very small, so she needed some of my chips to sustain herself. Cost of wine was reasonable and service was friendly and efficient and we had a nice time.

Hands down the best fish and chips. Listed top 10 in WA Sunday times paper. Love you long time

It's not that the seafood is bad, just overpriced. It's actually quite excellent. But $36 for a bit of fish, some squid, two prawns, and a lot of chips - I feel like it's just chips. Still, fresh and good flavours.

We go here frequently and always delicious food. The service from Grant is outstanding, always friendly and cannot do enough for the customers. Always with a smile and Hello, great guy! Being on the water another advantage on a beautiful sunny day, will always come here than go to the other close by.

Great seafood platter, veggie burgers and ice cream. Good value and efficient service. Love visiting with friends, lots of space for bigger group. Probably only lobster could be cooked better, but ok for price.

Very nice setting and casual dining. Fish was of great quality and didn't disappoint. I just didn't like the endless up and down to order from 3 different counters (drinks, food, sweet) and the quality of side dishes and condiments (tartare sauce, ketchup, etc.)

Great seafood! Dropped in for brunch, stayed til 3pm. Can't wait to go back!
