In The Hanging Garden

OK wine list, but very limited cocktail and food menus, variable food quality, and disposable cutlery and plates. So overall disappointing use of an otherwise great space. Ok for a drink, but if you're wanting to eat go elsewhere.

A very nice place to get together with others with great food options. The pannacotta and berries were excellent. Looking forward to visiting again and trying some of the other vendors. A must visit in Hobart.

Very interesting place

A bearded bartender ended my evening at 9pm after a few drinks with dinner. Not sure what his problem was. Apparently it was because I’d asked for two waters (they were for my girlfriend who had a headache) and apparently I’d forgotten the name of the wine I was drinking (was called Haddow & Dineen Pinot and I was making a joke about the name every time I ordered, is a nice local red) I haven’t been cut off by a bartender since I was 19, and I’m now 37. Disappointing outcome in what is actually a cool venue.

Nice place to have a few beverages. Food was also great.

Always delightful whether up on the deck or down in the covered performance area. Great food and choices mid-town.... If you are in the area - why go anywhere else.

The corn was life changing. I would recommend the pork skewers. The staff were so lovely and the prices are super reasonable for the amount of food that we got. Its also a great spot for taking pictures and the cocktails are yummy. We went in the afternoon on a hotter day and it was a tad uncomfortable being outside so would say go in the evening if its summer.
