There is competition for very good ramen in town but this is big strong very tasty winner of them all

I think the ambience was good. But not a big fan of the food.

A ramen place tucked away downstairs with a nice, clean ambience, with paintings on the wall. I tried the vegan ramen and it was one of the best vegan ramens I have tried. The broth was very flavourful with miso, and noodles were generous and had a great chewy texture. My friend had the original chashu ramen and she said it was nice too however could have more toppings. Price was reasonable, and overall left happy. Service was good too!

The service was very average from the start - half filled glasses, tiny portion of Renkon Chips for $7! Now, to Ramen itself - very poor quality - noodles stuck together at one end in a solid lump, obviously have been dumped in the water and not touched. Super-thin slices of pork, by taste never been marinated. For all that, the price is quite expensive. Won't go again and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Their yuzu ramen is the best!! My all time favourite since I first got introduced to this place in 2016. The staff there is always friendly and helpful. The umeshu (plum wine) selection they have there is very good as well. I will definitely keep going back for more yuzu ramen myself. Strongly recommend it to everyone.

We love this Japanese restaurant, tucked away down some stairs. We like to come when it's quiet as it is a popular venue and can get quite loud. Food is always delicious and service is great.

There are many great authentic Japanese food experiences in Melbourne. This is far from it. I ordered karaage and rice. What came was 4 pieces of burnt chicken meatballs and 5 spoons worth of rice. My friend ordered a bowl of ramen that is the equivalent of Shin Ramyun. it was called the spicy tobanjan if not mistaken. The worst part is that they charge as much as Hakata Gensuke does for their ramen. The staff was really nice and it hurts me to write this review. But the reviews online doesn’t reflect what was actually being served. The ambience doesn’t help either. It seems like bad day away from a kitchen nightmares set. Sadly the online reviews were mislead me to a sad evening. I cannot put my disappointment into words. If you are looking for a good time. Do not eat here.

Truly good ramen, and friendly staff. Highly recommended.
